Transferring to Intuitive Eating

May 25, 2017 in Recovery

Hi friends!! How are you?! Hope you have been enjoying your week thus far.

I have a new video up on something I get asked a lot: “How do you intuitively eat? How do I get there?”

Talking a whole lot about the mind-body connection here, listening to your cravings, mental aspects of hunger, etc. etc.

I don’t want to do a whole lot of writing about that, so I thought a video would suffice. Hope y’all enjoy. As always, feedback is welcome and conversation is SO appreciated.

Thank you for watching guys! Have a happy happy Thursday <3

All the love,

Lyss 🙂

Something I’m trying to get more in touch with. Recently I’ve become more aware of how I live off times and concepts and flat out routines rather than what I actually want or need in certain moments. It becomes so subconscious you don’t even realize it. Its going to be hard work but I really want to get out of the grasps of control and into a more intuitive way of living.

This is so important! Thank you for sharing your experience with transitioning to intuitive eating. The dining hall, getting out of my comfort zone, going on trips where all the meals were prepared for me — all these things helped me become an intuitive eater as well.
    You ROCK, Lyss! ♥︎

It is so ironic that the easiest part of our lives, something so intrinsic to our survival, is so difficult. Like, shouldn’t eating be as intuitive as sleep? BUT NO. We are all with you–supporting and going through this journey ourselves.

I think about that too- it should be like sleeping. But we complicate it so much…
