3. Seeing my dad before he and my mom left for their drip to D.C. And he brought me chocolate banana bread 🙂 how sweet!!

Top 3 Lows

1. Stomach aches. My stomach was up and down alllll week and it got pretty dang uncomfy.

2. Breaking out. HELP- what do y’all do for breakouts??

3. Not getting enough sleep. (I need to work on that!)

Amen to this!

Thank you Kate for shedding light on such an important issue.

Top 3 pictures from the week

You know how they say Saturday is for the boys?? Well then Sunday should definitely be for the girls- DUH (this picture still makes me laugh)

This was on my friend Brae’s Instagram story and it just made me so so so incredibly happy. Knowing people read my blog puts the biggest smile on my face!!

From this weekend, but I really just adore this picture of my roommate and I. And I adore her!! I am so so thankful <3

And as for food pics, none of them were too nice lookin’ this week. So I’ll try and work with what I can for next week… But sometimes dining hall salads and turkey sandwiches just aren’t photogenic :p

Now tell me:

One food you’re craving?

What do you use/do for breakouts?!

Have a happy Friday and a wonderful weekend!!

That is so sweet that your friend put your blog up on her Instagram story. Reading the blogs is one of my favorite ways to relax. 🙂 And thank you so much for sharing my post sister.

Sometimes I think maybe our stomachs and skin might react to stress? I’m no doctor, but do you think it might be because of stress? Will be praying for peace and grace for you. <3

I break out when my Crohn’s is flaring (or I’m sleeping on one side too much). Stress and changes in your routine can cause it! I hope that skin settles down!

Yay it’s the weekend! Ugh breakouts are the worst. The only thing that works for me is this cream called ‘Benzac’ it keeps my skin pretty clear most of the time.

Ummmm, why doesn’t my Dad bring me delicious baked goods!?!?! 😛

My skin has been driving me nuts lately and I find it tends to be directly related to gut issues! If my stomach is being lame, my skin wants the whole world to know about it 😛

One food I am craving right now is a big slice of pizza (weird because I’m a “meh” pizza person). For breakouts I try to wash my face more and drink more water.

funny you say that because I am craving pizza lately too!!

Breakouts are no fun! I normally try and drink extra water when I have them. I’m not sure if it helps, but it’s just a routine I have =)

My skin tends to break out majorly. I use an acne spot cream that works okay, but I haven’t found my magic yet!
Thanks for sharing my post, too.
I am glad you had a good first week!

I use acne spot treatment too, sometimes I feel like it just doesn’t work! Hope you are doing well Kate!

Honestly I am so low maintenance when it comes to skin care…I literally use hand soap to wash my face! I sometimes get a random zit once in a while but I just let it come and go, haha.

Hope you got some sleep this weekend girl! For breakouts to reduce redness I like to rub an ice cube over my face- I swear it helps it not look so inflamed!

I have actually been craving poutine all day, it’s a fastfood dish that is super popular here in Quebec. It’s got fries, brown gravy and cheese curds! Ugh, so good!
    That avo toast looks insaaaaane
