Top 3 Friday 9/30/16

September 30, 2016 in Friday Favorites / Yummy Eats

Hi guys and happy Friday! Another week down. And the last day of September which is soooo crazy! Fully embracing fall at this point though 🙂

Linking up with Kate for another top 3 Friday this week!

Top 3 Eats

This squash and sweet potato soup from my dining hall was actually SO good. Paired with quinoa and tabouli salad which I topped with chickpeas and peppers 🙂

This multigrain bagel Dunkin Donuts topped with strawberry cream cheese and paired with a pumpkin iced coffee with almond milk to make the perfect breakfast!

This bagel sandwich for lunch (I love ALL the bagels)-> this had hummus, peppers, tomato, lettuce, and cucumbers! And it was on a perfectly toasted pumpernickel bagel!

Top 3 Highs

  1. Getting lunch with my best buddy on Thursday and volunteering after. I love spending time with my buddy Tricia and I look forward to our lunch dates together! This week we got bagel sandwiches and she loved it!
  2. Working out with my bff Jillian. I love working out with her because we can be productive and have fun together. 🙂
  3. Fall weather. I love weather in the 50s/60s and it’s finally getting chilly! I couldn’t take the humidity anymore, especially in a dorm room without AC.

Top 3 Lows

  1. Not enough sleep. My own fault lol, but least I got to get in some naps this week.
  2. Feeling overwhelmed with school and stressed.
  3. One of my best friends leaving school and heading off to ED treatment again. So hard to see her go, but I know she needs this and she needs to get better.

3 things I’m looking forward to

  1. Seeing my mama today after my doctors appointment and seeing both my parents Saturday!
  2. Columbus Day weekend coming up and having a 5 day weekend.
  3. Shopping for fall clothes!

Again: so jealous of your Dunkin’ Donuts, haha. And I feel you on the “overwhelmed with school” thing… yup, it’s that point in the term again!

My favorite type of bagel is asiago cheese and one high from this week was getting my senior thesis topic approved by my advisor! (Now to write the paper… :P)

BAGELS; that pumpernickel bagel looks absolutely epic! 🙂 And isn’t working out with friends wonderful? I love working out with my mom, or I love going to the gym and kind of ‘people watching’ and learning from other people who work out together. I hope that doesn’t sound creepy, but I do learn from observing and listening.

We need to Face Time soon; I would love to hear about how school is going, when you have time! 🙂

Hooray for long weekends! That sucks about not getting enough sleep. I kinda feel the same way. There is something about studying that makes it hard to sleep. It is always weighing on the back of my mind.
I hope you get better rest over the weekend!
Top high from my week was we had this one crazy warm, sunny day after like a month of grey, rainy days.

My favorite type of bagel is salt or cinnamon raisin. I love the sweet and savory combinations. I put hummus on cinnamon raisin and PB&J on salt. It’s so good!

My favorite bagels are by far the Montreal style bagels because they are just so darn good, sesame seed flavor all the way.
I’m really hoping your friend who went for treatment is gonna get better soon, I’ll be sending her telepathic positive vibes!
Top highlight this week: We get to babysit a dog this weekend and I am so excited to have a dog back in my life even if it is for a short period of time! 🙂
