Thinking out Loud 8/11/16

August 11, 2016 in About Me

Hi guys and happy Thursday!! Comin’ from you in Maine this Thursday because my fam and I are on a little vaca here for a few days! πŸ™‚ Going to be linking up with Amanda today for another thinking out loud! Get ready for some random ramblings and things on my brain πŸ˜€

1. Have y’all been watching the gymnasts in Rio?? The girls absolutely KILLED it Tuesday night. Like seriously- they are so amazing. I cannot wait to watch more and see them keep doing their thang πŸ™‚

2. Babysitting is exhausting. How do kiddos have so much energy nonstop. I babysat Monday and Tuesday but these kids are pretty cute when they’re not jumping on me or arguing. And it is good money which is always a win!

3. I’m still smiling about the fact that I got to spend the entire morning with my blogging BFF Marina on Saturday. Can we hang again soon please?? This gal is SO genuine and down to earth. I feel like we could’ve talked for hours!! So much love for her <3

4. Also smiling about only having one shift this week at GNC. As much as I love my job, it’s nice to have a little break!
5. On Monday night, I had the pleasure of FaceTiming Emily which was SO awesome. This Jesus lovin’, beautiful, down to earth, and incredibly kind soul is one that I’m so blessed to have in my life! <3

6. I got to spend the morning with my dad yesterday, go to church, and eat waffles with pb and drink a big mug of coffee while blog reading. It just made me feel so at peace and was the morning I really needed!

7. Yesterday I also had an amazing yoga flow at home which put my body and mind at peace.

8. I can’t believe I move back into school in less than three weeks! So much to get done, but I know it all will. Definitely a little nervous for school to start back up again, but at the same time I am super excited!! I know that everything will be fine and I God on my side through it all. πŸ™‚

9. Last night I left for Maine with my fam and we got in around 10! I’m so excited for this trip that’ll be filled with hiking, fam time, and relaxation. πŸ™‚

That’s it for this Thursday!

Now tell me:

Favorite U.S. gymnast? (Mines Aly Raisman!)

Have you ever met a blogging friend?

Have a great day loves!!

Xoxo,

I love Aly! But all of the girls have really stolen my heart. They make such a supportive team. I couldn’t watch the all-around today, but I was reading the live tweets as they came through. I stayed up late on Tuesday to watch though. I’m excited to see all the other events.
Yay for family time, seriously my favorite! Enjoy yourself.

I love meeting Blogging friends. It is basically the reason that I blog, in the large scheme of things.
And I adore Aly Raisman. She is like the big sister of the team! Kind of like I hope I am for my younger blogging friends. At least I try to be!
    Havea great weekend!

I love watching the gymnastics. I can’t get over how incredibly fit and flexible the athletes are!
I went to a few gymnastics lessons with a friend waaaay back in the day and I remember being completely terrified of all of the equipment. How do you flip over that huge vault? I can’t even do a roly poly, let alone a back flip…onto a thin little beam :O

  • Reply Caroline August 13, 2016 at 3:20 am

I really love Gabby Douglas! But honestly all of those gymnasts are so awesome. They are so frickin’ strong and I would be terrified to even attempt to do half the things they do. I also love how so, so many different types of bodies are shown during the Olympics. It really demonstrates that it’s not just one type of body that can be amazing and athletic! Omg blogger meet ups and FaceTime/Skype? Um I think I need to do that ASAP because I’m dying to meet so many amazing women (like you!)!

Babysitting really is SO exhausting! I used to nanny full time and I would come home and just melt into my bed. It sounds like you have been having so much good stuff happening in your life lately! <3
