Hi guys and happy Thursdayyyy! I wasn’t feeling a mental health/recovery post today because my brain is literally fried and I can’t get myself to formulate a post that even makes sense. So here’s more of a fun post and some exciting things that have happened/ are coming up in my life this month!
I’ve known about this for a while but haven’t shared it on here, but I will be recording for a podcast Friday! It’s the podcast nutrition matters and I’m so excited to be working with Paige and that I get this amazing opportunity!
A weekend at home
It was good to see my family this weekend and get a break from school. I worked at GNC two days and got to see some friends from high school. It didn’t really feel like a break because I was pretty busy, but regardless it was nice being home!
And it was so so nice eating an acai bowl aka my fave thing everrr with my best friend. 🙂
New pancake recipe
While I was home this weekend, I got to cook/bake which I missed so much and I played around with a new pancake recipe!
3 tbsp wheat flour, 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1 scoop chocolate sunwarrior protein powder, 2 tbsp egg whites, 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder, 1/4 cup almond milk, 1/2 mashed banana. Top with banana, cinnamon, and nut butter
This weather is making me so happy. Fall weather and fall clothes are my fav. And getting to eat all the pumpkin stuff doesn’t hurt either.

It’s never been my fav holiday but it’s fun in college getting to dress up with your friends! I have no idea what I’m going to be yet so if anyone has ideas help ya girl out.
Autism Speaks Walk
I’ve been doing this walk since I was 12. My uncle suffers from Autism, so it is something that is very meaningful to me. I’ll be walking with my college and all my best friends so I’m so excited for that!
I’m not 100% sure what I’m doing this weekend, but I definitely want to catch up on some rest after this week. On Friday I plan on trying a bare class with my friend Brody, going to an extra credit even for a class, and recording for the podcast! On Saturday I think my friend Jillian and I are grabbing lunch at our fave little place by campus since we need a good meal that isn’t dining hall food. And I know I’ll be doing homework/studying and going to church on Sunday! Besides that, I’m not too sure what’ll be up for this weekend, but I’m trying hard not to plan everything to a T and learn to just go with the flow. (which can be hard for me!)
That’s it for today because I wanna get my butt out of this library and out of these jeans lol.
