The Dorm Room Breakfast Guide

Hi guys and happy Wednesday! Hope you are all having a good week and that it hasn’t been too stressful.

Today, I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite ideas for breakfasts for all my fellow college students or people living in a dorm. Hope you enjoy!

Cereal

Cereal is seriously a life saver in college. I love the little cereal cups too as it saves on cleaning dishes hehe. I have my cereal with almond milk and fruit for a quick and tasty breakfast!

Some of my favorite cereals are life, special k Red berries, honey bunches of oats, honey nut cheerios, mini wheats, and raisin bran! 🙂 

Granola 

I also love these little granola cups, or just any granola, with almond milk and fruit!

I love these granola unleashed cups. This flavor is blueberry flax! 

Oatmeal

I love these Love Grown oat cups. You can just pop them in the microwave with water for a minute-super easy and quick breakfast! I top mine with almond butter or peanut butter and banana for a delicious breakfast. 

Toast

I keep my Ezeikel bread in my fridge so it stays fresh longer. I love having two slices with nut butter, banana, and a piece of fruit on the side!

Rice cakes+nut butter+banana

I’ll take two rice cakes, spread them with nut butter, top them with a banana, and have a greek yogurt on the side. Perfect quick and easy breakfast and one that is super delish too! 

Oat bars/Bars

These bob’s oat bars are the best. I love to have them for breakfast with cottage cheese and fruit or greek yogurt and fruit. I also like to have cliff bars for breakfast sometimes with greek yogurt and fruit or cottage cheese and fruit!

    I ate so much oatmeal when I lived in a dorm room. It was the easiest thing. Or yogurt with fruit. These days I am loving smoothies, but probably one had one or two in college because smoothies are definitely not an easy thing to make in a dorm room. 🙂

      Oatmeal is definitely one of the easiest dorm room breakfasts. Same with yogurt with fruit and granola! I miss smoothies and smoothie bowls. Looking forward to making lots of those in the summer 🙂

    Mmmmm breakfast. Best time of day. I love little convenient cereal bowls – they remind me of childhood camping trips.
    In college my mom would always bake up her famous granola bars and I’d stash them in my room when my morning time was short. They were super filling and perfect.

      Breakfast really is the best time of day 🙂 And it is the best meal by far! That’s a good idea to bake a lot of granola bars and save them. Definitely perfect for when you don’t have a lot of time in the morning!

    These look exactly like the breakfasts I ate when I lived in a dorm! Great minds think alike. 😉 My most commonly eaten breakfast is oatmeal with fruit in it and a big dollop of nut butter and cinnamon. YUM 🙂 Happy hump dayyyy!

      Oatmeal is seriously one of the best breakfasts… wish I had cinnamon in my room! I love putting that on my oats too 🙂 xoox

    I used to make PB&J sandwiches or have frozen burritos for breakfast. It was honestly wonderful. Those things kept you full for hours! I have just recently got back on the granola train. I’ve been putting it on my banana bowls and they provide a great crunch. I don’t think I’ve eaten rice cakes since I was about 5 years old…but they pop up everywhere on my Instagram so maybe I should give them a try. You also have me craving rice krispies <33333

      I love PB and J’s! seriously best sandwich combo. Granola is the best too, on smoothie bowls, yogurt… you name it! Have a great day girl!

    I haven’t had the Special K red berries cereal in forever! I almost forgot about it, thanks for the reminder! I have a full kitchen so I’m spoiled as far as breakfast goes. I make scrambled egg whites every morning, but I need to switch it up.

      Special k red berries is my all time fave. I miss making eggs and egg whites in the morning. But yes, def switch it up hehe variety is the spice of life!! 🙂 love you girl!

    I agree that cereal is the fastest way to get breakfast in! I usually need a higher calorie cereal if I want it to keep me full though. Is it weird that other then bananas, I hate eating fruits for breakfast? I don’t get it myself, but I try to compensate during the day!

      Same here, or I need something a little more than just cereal! Bananas are definitely the fruit I have most at breakfast time. I feel like they just pair well with so many things!

    I swear we are the same person – I would totally be loving those cereal cups to save on washing dishes too 😛 I HATE washing dishes!

    These are pretty much my go-to breakfasts when traveling too!
