Hi guys and happy Sunday! Been a bit since I have done a link love. I am going to be sharing my favorite reads from this week and there’s a lot of good ones! Hope you are all having a good weekend too and have a relaxing Sunday! Anyways, let’s get started :)



Chicken noodle soup

Chicken noodle soup is the best on a cold day. Heather’s recipe looks so yummy!

Chai lattes. Pumpkin. Cookies. All my favorite things in one… must try these ASAP!

My family and my recovery

My family played such an integral role in my recovery. Like Emily writes about, I think it is so important to have a good support system. So incredibly thankful for the role my family had in bringing me back to full health and happiness.

The part of my recovery story that went untold

Cayanne is a huge inspiration to me and most definitely one of my favorite bloggers. This is such a great post. I highly recommend checking out her blog!

Feeling out of control

Another huge inspiration of mine and a great friend. Hayley’s post on this was so real and raw- sometime’s after a restrictive eating disorder, feelings of loss of control can arouse; yet the feelings of freedom and being spontaneous outweigh those and remind us what recovery is all about.


Practice gratitude

Something I have been trying to work on lately. Such a great post by Sarah!

Not needing a relationship

Julia’s post on not needing a relationship really resonated with me, as I am in the same position at this point in my life. We do not need to be on the search for a relationship. When the right person comes, they will come! But until then, it’s so much important to focus on ourselves and being happy with where we are in life.

I break every food rule in the book

Because life is too short to follow the rules of society and the rules we place amongst ourselves regarding food and what we eat. There is a life outside of that and it is so beautiful.

And a reminder, this week is eating disorder awareness week. So love yourself a little more this week, spread the word, and give a big F U to your eating disorder. And also, a very important message: 

“Don’t waste that powerful mind of yours counting calories. Don’t do it. You have such potential. You have the capacity to touch people, change lives, improve and advance this world. You can change this world. Don’t waste your energy trying to lose weight. Don’t squander it, consumed in getting thinner. Don’t do it. Look out and look forward. There is so, so much more to you than that. Eat, dear. Nourish yourself. So you can dream and dream bigger.”

    I use to not really care for chicken noodle soup, but now I could literally drink it. I love broth so much.
    Are you an english major? I hope you are doing something that you can use your writing in!
